Belstaff


In 1924 Harry Grosberg founded Belstaff in Victoria Place, Longton, Stoke-On-Trent.

The original product line consisted of water proof garments for men and women.
It was about this time Belstaff became the first company in the world to use a fabric that was totally
 water proof and breathable, the now famous wax cotton
.This a very fine egyption cotton treated with natural oils making it water proof.
Belstaff specialsed in the creation of protective clothing for the motorcyclist.
The famous trialmaster jacket has been worn by generations of motorcycle enthusiasts over the years.
